Kimberly has been in the financial services industry for over 20 years, always serving the independent movement. Her career began as a financial advisor for AIG in the late 90’s immediately upon graduating from Colorado State University with a B.S. in Business and a minor in Economics. Upon receiving her Certified Financial Planning certificate, she made the leap to independence and established her own firm. Soon after, she realized she loved the industry and the movement to independence, but could make a greater impact overall by helping financial advisors launch their own wealth management practice, building enterprise value for themselves and their families. She has served as a Senior Vice President recruiting for Raymond James Financial Services for four years. In 2010, she moved to California for Wells Fargo where she spent years recruiting to the independent channel, FiNet. Kimberly was recruited to HighTower to manage West Coast recruiting where she quickly rose to the National Director of Business Development. It is here that she helped build HighTower’s Platform channel resulting in the best 3 straight years of recruiting for HighTower. As a part of their executive leadership team, she played an instrumental role in the private equity process and eventual capital infusion from T.H. Lee. She left HighTower as the Head of National Business Development and Platform Strategy to join Fusion Financial Partners. Kimberly is a Co-Foudner of the firm and will often be heard telling others, “I have preached independence and led advisors to the freedom only being a business owner can allow for over 20 years. It’s time I finally follow my own advice!”
Kimberly resides in Carlsbad, CA with her husband, Mike, five children and their French Bulldog, Louis, giving them plenty to do and talk about besides the business.
