Fusion expands into two divisions and grows team, adding 4 team members, to meet expanded market demand.

Fusion recently announced the launch of its Corporate Strategy division and is now comprised of two divisions.  Here is a spotlight on the specific offerings provided within each division.

  • Advisor Group – This team services advisor teams looking to launch their own RIA or join a national RIA either via affiliation or acquisition. Fusion works with the team to educate them on the landscape of independence and then packages them into a blind RFP to protect their identity as they evaluate their new custodian or platform. The Advisor Group then turns to the project management team who works with the team on their preparation for transition helping to solve for capital needs, legal and compliance support, architect technology platforms, evaluate strategic partnerships and provide guidance around team economics and optimization for their RIA launch. • Corporate Strategy – Our corporate strategy team works with RIAs to help optimize their business through gap analysis and then runs a similar RFP process to select strategic partners and vendors, allowing the team to reach their growth goals. This division also serves large corporations such as broker-dealers, major insurance carriers and IMOs seeking to launch a national RIA platform. Similar to the Advisor Group, but on a much larger scale, the team works with Executive Leadership to provide education on the type of RIA to launch and identify the ideal client profile and target market. We then focus on the build from a tactical perspective which has included projects such as:
    • Run an RFP to choose a custodian(s) that is right for the enterprise
    • Build the platform offering and price competitively
    • Build business development processes
    • Build the technology platform and tools required to attract advisors
    • Design the organization chart required to support the platform
    • Assist with identifying and hiring of roles and then work with their chosen PR firm to develop a go-to-market strategy

Fusion expansion plans include adding more talent to both divisions within the next quarter and are actively seeking talent.
